• 1 August, 2008. New York, NY. Baruch November, 31, is here in front of the entrance of the Westmont building, in the Upper West Side. Baruch November is a Orthodox man from Pittsburgh who moved, like many other young jewish men and women, to the Upper West Side in New York with marriage in his mind. The Westmont building has become one of the favored residences for the young Orthodox. In the last decades the Upper West Side, which has emerged as the "Orthodox Courting Central", has driven young Orthodox jews from the US and other nations.
• VENICE, ITALY - 1 JUNE 2013: Visitors look at Sarah Sze's "Triple Point (Pendulum)", 2013 - Salt, water, stone, string, projector, video, pendulum, mixed media - at the US Pavilion at the Giardini of the Biennale in Venice, Italy, on June 1st 2013.

Sarah Sze's "Triple Point" comprises a series of interrelated installations that transform the rooms of the United States Pavilion into a chain of immersive experiences. Extending beyond the confines of the gallery spaces to include the building's exterior, entrance, and exit, the exhibition directly engages the Neoclassical building designed in 1930 by architects William Adams Delano and Chester Holmes Aldrich, challenging its Palladian sense of order.
Since the 1990s, artist Sarah Sze (b. 1969) has developed a sculptural aesthetic that
transforms space through radical shifts in scale, colonizing overlooked or peripheral spaces, engaging with the fabric and history of a building, and shifting the viewer's perception and
experience of architecture through large-scale, site-specific interventions. Triple Point brings together many of the ideas that Sze has developed during her practice.
?Central to the exhibition is the notion of the ?compass? and how we locate ourselves in a perpetually disorienting world." said Sze.

The 55th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale takes place in Venice from June 1st to November 24th, 2013 at the Giardini and at the Arsenale as well as in various venues the city.
• VENICE, ITALY - 1 JUNE 2013: Sarah Sze's "Triple Point (Planetarium)", 2013 -
Wood, steel, plastic, stone, string, fans, overhead projectors, photograph of rock printed on Tyvek, mixed media, 249 x 216 x 198 inches (632.5 x 548.6 x 502.9 cm) - at the US Pavilion at the Giardini of the Biennale in Venice, Italy, on June 1st 2013.

Vadim Zakharov's Danae project has united the upper and lower storeys of the Pavillon in a single project for the first time in the building's long history, built in 1914. The theme of the installation turns around the ancient Greek myth of Danae. Vadim Zakharov states: "The installation has two points for viewing - from above and from below. Kneeling and looking down, we can grasp and feel that we are present at a unique process of materialization of the myth. Though the huge hole in the floow, we fall into another semantic and poetic space, into which golden coins fly from a pyramid ceiling. Below we see women with umbrellas, which protect them from being struck by the coins. The lower hall can only be visited by women. This is not about sexism but merely follows the logic of the anatomical construction of the myth. What is masculine can only fall inside from above, in the form of golden rain. The lower level of the Pavillon is "cave womb", keeping tranquility, knowledge, and memory intact.
