The third season of “My Brilliant Friend” is set to return on February 28th 2022 on HBO and HBO Max, based on the third book in **Elena Ferrante**'s quadrilogy, ***My Brilliant Friend: Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay**.* 

The series continues the story of Elena and Lila as the two tackle adulthood and must also deal with their role in shaping the world around them, as Italy continues to shift politically and socially. The series is directed by **Daniele Luchetti** and stars **Margherita Mazzucco** and **Gaia Girace**
