SANT'AGATA DE' GOTI, ITALY - 13 November 2013: Luigi Maria Mongillo, the brother-in-law of Mayor of New York Bill De Blasio's uncle and closest relative in Italy, is here at his house in Sant'Agata de' Goti, Italy, on November 13th, 2013. “Billy was always a bright, attentive and affectionate boy,” Adele Mongillo said, sitting on her antique couch. “He is the right man at the right time.”
“His love for this land comes from his grandfather,” she added. “He loved it here.”

Sant'Agata de' Goti is the town that Bill de Blasio’s maternal grandfather, Giovanni de Blasio, left over a
hundred years ago for the United States.
