13 February, 2009.Bellerose, Queens, NY. Sikh members of the Sant Sagar Temple discuss while the rest of the community is in another hall praying. Before or after praying people receive the "Langar", a meal distributed to everybody for free as a symbol of equality. The temple is still in construction and is planned to be completed by mid-April. The temple has been built next to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Bellerose, Queens, where demographics have changed in recent year.
