13 February, 2009.Bellerose, Queens, NY. Sikh members of the Gurdwara Sagar Temple gather for the Langar after prayers, a meal distributed to everybody as a symbol of equality. The Gurdwara Sagar temple is still in construction and is planned to be completed by mid-April. The temple has been built next to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Bellerose, Queens, where demographics have changed in recent year.
